Description

Join United Way of Brevard for an exciting volunteer opportunity at the 8th Annual 2025 Kennedy Space Center Space Race! The Space Race is a 3K walk/run throughout Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex that benefits United Way of Brevard. Volunteers typically stand in designated areas along the race route to help guide the runners, cheer them on, and ensure they stay on track. In addition to this, volunteers may be asked to assist with other tasks as needed to support the event.

Please arrive by 6:00 PM, as the volunteer assignment briefing will start promptly at 6:15 PM.

Volunteer Should Provide

Comfortable shoes, as you will be standing and walking along the race route. A positive and enthusiastic attitude to help cheer on and support the runners! Flexibility, as you may be asked to assist with various tasks or stations to support the event team. A mobile phone number for communication during the event.

Agency Will Provide

Communication and any additional instructions prior to the event. A designated volunteer meetup location at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. More details will be provided closer to the event.
