The Dorcas Outreach Center for Kids (DOCK) is a ministry of Neighbor up Brevard. Located in Booker T. Washington Park neighborhood (Melbourne, FL), the DOCK offers afterschool and summer programming for school-aged kids grades K-12th. The DOCK always has a need for talented, experienced volunteer tutors to assist elementary, middle and high school students. Volunteer tutors helps both struggling and gifted students reach their full potential by supplementing the instruction they receive in their classroom, assisting with homework and guiding them towards study practices that can help them excel. Tutors work with individual students one-on-one or in small groups. Support is needed Monday - Thursday; tutoring hours will vary between 3:00 - 5:00 PM depending on grade level.
